Nurse Aide Training - Standard blended program allows students to complete a portion online, at their own pace, during a time that works best for them as well as a chance to learn in a hands-on environment, instructed by an experienced nurse, bolstered by a curriculum that meets or exceeds Indiana standards. This course provides 30 hours of online nursing theory, 43 hours in a hands-on simulation laboratory, and log 32 hours as a nurse aide resident. Learning objectives are developed to prepare students for a rewarding career as a Certified Nurse Aide. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate of completion which grants eligibility for the Indiana State Department of Health Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation and entry into the Indiana Nurse Aide Residency.

Upon completion of all in-person and online learning, no other administrative delinquencies, and current on all financial obligations, students will be scheduled to conduct a minimum of 32 hours of clinical training as a nurse resident in our long-term care facility.
