Tuition Assistance FAQ
How is tuition 100 % reimbursed?
Our Nurse Aide Training course is 100% reimbursable because the law says it is!
Federal regulation 42 CFR 483.152(c)(1) states:
(1) No nurse aide who is employed by, or who has received an offer of employment from, a facility on the date on which the aide begins a nurse aide training and competency evaluation program may be charged for any portion of the program (including any fees for textbooks or other required course materials).
(2) If an individual who is not employed or does not have an offer to be employed, as a nurse aide becomes employed by, or receives an offer of employment from, a facility not later than 12 months after completing a nurse aide training and competency evaluation program, the State must provide for the reimbursements of costs incurred in completing the program.
Are you currently employed?
If you are currently employed as a Nurse Aide or have received an offer of employment from a facility that requires Certified Nurse Aides contact your hiring manager and request tuition assistance.
What is covered by reimbursement?
100% of tuition is covered and our tuition is all-inclusive! It includes all training coursework, textbooks, blood pressure cuff and stethoscope, full set of scrubs, laboratory supplies, American Heart Association First Aid CPR AED two-year certification, Indiana CNA Competency Exam fee, and registration on Indiana’s Nurse Aide Registry.
When will I receive my reimbursement?
When you become hired as a nurse aide within 12 months of completing the nurse aide training, the facility is expected to pay 100% of the costs. Contact your hiring manager for more details.
