Nurse Aide Training 2.0 uses a variety of learning methods such as Cinematic Health, an interactive curriculum designed to prepare you with the knowledge and skills for a career as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The online component includes “The Residents,” a story-based dramatization that depicts the life of a newly hired CNA. This course goes beyond helping you learn the required skills, it also prepares you for the job's emotional challenges and realities, along with its rewards for longevity in the many career paths of a CNA. This course provides 40 hours of self-directed online nursing theory, 43 hours in a hands-on simulation laboratory, and log 32 hours as a nurse aide resident. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate of completion which grants eligibility for the Indiana State Department of Health Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation and entry into the Indiana Nurse Aide Residency.

Upon completion of online learning and laboratory skill training hours, and all other administrative and financial requirements met, students, will be scheduled to conduct a minimum of 32 hours of clinical training as a nurse residency in our local long-term care facility.
